Definitions
Welcome and key handover
Guájar Properties will meet guests upon arrival at the rental property. They will give guests a set of keys
to the property, show them around and leave them a business card with contact numbers in case of
emergency.
Key collection
On the day of departure, Guájar Properties will meet the guests, either at the rental property or at a
mutually pre-agreed-upon location, and collect their set of keys to the property.
Emergency point of contact
Throughout guests' stay at the rental property, Guájar Properties will be contactable by telephone or
mobile phone 24hrs per day in case of emergency. All work resulting from emergency calls will be charged
at an additional rate of €15/hr, charged to the nearest 15 minutes.
Cleaning
On the day of departure, Guájar Properties will sweep and mop all floors (including patio), wipe down all
kitchen and bathroom surfaces, dust general surfaces (e.g. tables, shelves), make beds, remove rubbish,
empty fridge, 'straighten' furniture. Consumables (toilet rolls, washing up liquid, etc) will be replaced only
following prior arrangement with the property owner and at an additional charge.
Sheet and towel change
On the day of departure, Guájar Properties will remove (and wash) used sheets and towels, make up
beds with clean sheets and leave clean towels - laundry of up to 2 complete sets of clean sheets and
towels are included in the pack price per rental.
Inventory check
On the day of departure, Guájar Properties will check a list of inventory items (supplied by the property
owner) for broken or missing items and report broken/missing items to the property owner via email.
Maintenance check
On the day of departure, Guájar Properties will check the functionality of all lights, lamps, TVs, Stereos,
heating system, taps, toilet flush and the hot water supply, and report any non-functioning items to the
property owner via email. All consequent work (e.g. arrangement of electricians, plumbers, etc) will be
charged at an additional rate of €15/hr, charged to the nearest 15 minutes.
Welcome food & drink pack
Upon request by the property owner, Guájar Properties will leave a 'welcome' pack of food and drink for
guests' arrival. This optional service is available at €15 per rental.
Plant care
Upon request by the property owner, Guájar Properties will water and 'dead-head' all interior and patio
plants on the day of guests' arrival. This optional service is available at €5-15 per rental.
Garden maintenance
Upon request by the property owner, Guájar Properties will arrange for gardens and property grounds to
be maintained if the owner is away from the property for long periods. Quotations for this optional
service are available upon request.
Swimming pool maintenance
Guájar Properties will clean the swimming pool up to 2 times per property rental - filter the pool, manually
clean the pool with a net and/or hoover, wash down the pool patio area, 'straighten' pool furniture (all
cleaning equipment to be provided by the property owner). Upon request by the property owner, all
extra cleans, chlorine treatments, etc. will be charged at an additional rate of €15/hr, charged to the
nearest 15 minutes.
